Review

Client request: The project involved modeling the building facades based on the point cloud, with detailed representation of window and door openings on the elevations, and decoration with LOD 300.

Scope of work: Modeling facades of the residential building, creation of parametric families for windows, doors, and decorative elements, as well as modeling the roof surface, drainage system, and ventilation components. All elements were developed at LOD 300 to ensure accuracy and consistency with the existing building conditions. The model was developed in Autodesk Revit based on the point cloud data.

Input data: Point cloud (RCP + RCS), photos for accuracy.

Deliverables: 3D model (RVT and IFC).

Stages of the project:

1. Receiving input data
2. Analyzing the input: requesting additional information
3. Modeling facades based on point cloud
4. Modeling the site of the building
5. Developing drawings of facades based on the BIM model

Result of the project:

3D model was created (.rvt, .ifc)
Drawings of facades were developed (.dwg, .pdf)
